Kevin can you explain your turning point from an amateur snowboarder to pro?
The day I could live off snowboarding.
How did you first get hooked up with Vivo headwear and what does the brand mean to you?
I have been friends with Antz for a few years now and always thought vivo was tight. I am super hyped to ride for
them because they are a real company owned by real dudes.
You seem very interested in the business side of snowboarding what your plans in the future with that side of things?
Well I am going to start my own headwear company. ahahahaha jokes not to sure. I guess I will just see
what else I end up learning and take it from there.
What is the most favourite country you have traveled to and why?
Sweden , Girls
Hands down what has been the scariest moment snowboarding in your life?
Car accident last winter with Barker and J wash. Someone should of died but we were all so lucky.
It took me out for 3 months but whatever I am alive!
What is the funniest moment you have had while on a snowboard trip?
I was in Stockholm with Jody Wachniak and kareem and Jody was taking forever to set his board up and asked me to do it for him. So I just threw the bindings on and away we went, as if he just trusted me…I gave him like a 25 inch stance and we were hitting this handrail and he was like something is wrong but I dont know what it is. ahahahahahaha gotcha Jody.
How can you describe your snowboarding style?
What is your next step with snowboarding?
Just keep on learning stuff and get better and not giving a fuck what everyone else is doing. I am going to be
in the backcountry most of next season so I guess that would be it, pow pow and more pow. I love going to Sweden and hitting handrails. I grew up skating so I am always gonna have mad love for handrails.
Any advice you can give to up and coming snowboarders trying to turn pro?
Forget about it just snowboard because its fun and you love it. If you happen to be in the 1 or 2 percent of snowboarders that will be able to make a living off it you will know at a pretty young age. Dont stress snowboarding is so great without all the sponsorship crap.
How would you describe yourself in one word?
My family, sponsors, friends and anyone and everyone that has helped me in anyway thank you.
