Andrew can you explain your turning point from an amateur snowboarder to pro?
Am I pro? I dunno, I guess when you start getting paid enough that you can pay rent and shit. but most pros make a bit. Well some of them maybe….
How did you first get hooked up with Vivo headwear and what does the brand mean to you?
Anthony was talking about it for a while then I heard about some of the people that were involved and I was hyped. so he got me onboard. I’m stoked that I get to be apart of Vivo headwear for sure.
Do you have plans to design some signature items with Vivo headwear in the future?
Hell yea. I got a few ideas.
You seemed to have had a great productive season and stepping into filming with a major company how was that?
Pretty fun. Kinda stressful at points but that goes along with filming for any video really.
You recently turned pro for DC , What is it like riding for them?
I’ve been on DC for 5 years now. Everyone there have helped me so much. It’s awesome being on a team with a couple of your favorite shreds.
What is the most favorite country you have traveled to and why?
Barcelona, Spain. skate spots are amazing. Don’t get kicked out too much otherwise they will just dump water on you.
Hands down, what has been the scariest moment snowboarding in your life?
There have been too many. Probably riding down that dam in Aus.
What is the funniest moment you have had while on a snowboard trip?
Way too many.
How can you describe your snowboarding style?
You tell me.
What is your next step with snowboarding?
Try and get really creative in the back country.
Any advice you can give to up and coming snowboarders trying to turn pro?
Don’t try too hard.
mum, dad and all my sponsors! Any person reading this …
