It’s that time of year again! We received the official call from Whistler saying that the hill would be opening in a few days, so we rounded up the Vivo crew and headed on up! We checked in to the brand new Aava Whistler hotel located in the heart of the village. Aava is definitely the best new spot to stay on your ski holiday with amazing customer service and great rates!

We had a wicked start to our trip by being a part of the first ever Whistler snowboard trade show at Garfinkel’s. We were along side other brands from all over the world, showcasing their new line of products of what’s to come for trade show season. The place rocked out all night long and hopefully you were one of the lucky winners of a Vivo hat!

We woke up to the blessing of a few feet of fresh snow and great visibility for opening day. It looks like this winter is shaping up to be one of the best, just in time for the Olympics!
